something about the directors and producers

Ayana Khann

Producer

This one hits the floor running nonstop. The most reliable and valuable member of my team. She carries a can of BS spray and uses it on a daily basis.

Living the dream of making my own films. The arduous task of coming up with what kind of film that I would like to make. And then, making it...

Having a reliable team member is priceless. I can only say good things about Mo. I can't see myself making a film without having him on set.

The Setup

As we learn about their pasts we realize they need each other to build a future.
An awkward journey into the world of dysfunction, drug and alcohol abuse, and deceitful intentions. DRUGS, BOOZE & WOES A film by David Molino
The Confrontation

Six functional people, a head on train wreck of disaster. They all face dire consequences that will eventually set two of them free.

The Resolution.

Cover your ears and be blinded by the images that we present. Be judgmental and appalled, because that was our intention; you are affected and also reminded that you are not in control. Open your eyes and you will find a love one or a friend on the same road; then you will understand Drugs, Booze & Woes for what it is…

the story of adventure, hate and love

This is not an easy film to make, nor to watch. It is a reminder of the truth, the part known to self unknown to others, a staircase into your own, our own, personal hell. While under the influence, we all become Jekyll or Hyde maybe even both, it all depends on how many demons are inside that needs to come out. So that finally we can confront the facade of our own truth…

A love story about functional people doing dysfunctional things
My film is dark, and filled with expletives. The subject matter is a topic that we all turn our heads and close our ears to. Addiction and mental illness is a crisis that we all will eventually bare the burden, sooner or later. Usually, it’s too late to do something other than offer condolences… Mental healthcare is failing! Raise awareness. #drugsboozewoes #facethedemon
